Ganpat University in collaboration with Stratasys India, and DesignTech Systems, has established a Centre of Excellence for Additive Manufacturing - a transformative initiative that is reshaping the future of 3D printing education, research, and industrial training in India.
This partnership marks a significant milestone in advancing additive manufacturing capabilities across the country. Located at Ganpat University, one of Gujarat’s top-ranked institutions with Five-Star recognition under the Gujarat State Institutional Rating Framework, the Centre of Excellence is designed to empower students, educators, and industry professionals with hands-on experience in industrial-grade 3D printing.

The facility also includes dedicated post-processing and cleaning systems, such as waterjet cleaning stations, ensuring efficient and precise support removal for PolyJet parts.
The center’s excellence was nationally recognized when the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) designated it as the National Centre for Additive Manufacturing. This upgrade followed a visit by Hon. Minister Mr. Rajeev Chandrasekhar, who commended the world-class ecosystem built in collaboration with Stratasys.
The center played a key role in the implementation of India’s first National Mission on Additive Manufacturing, reinforcing its strategic importance in shaping the country’s industrial future.
