Technologies & Materials

At Stratasys Direct we offer the largest fleet of 3D printing technologies to serve a variety of application needs. We have critical knowledge derived from decades of working with the energy industry to maximize your resources and provide AS9100 and ISO 9001-certified manufacturing facilities to ensure consistent, high-quality components.

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)

Create limitless applications with reliable FDM printing using a variety of known thermoplastics, with some rating for very high heat applications or resistance to oils and gas. Materials to consider are Antero 800NA, Antero 840CN03 (ESD), ULTEM™ 9085 resin, and ULTEM™ 1010 resin.

Selective Absorption Fusion (SAF)

Great for applications where bio-based materials or chemical resistance is desired, or when high volumes are required. Materials to consider are High Yield PA 11, Nylon PA 12.

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)

SLS is perfect for complex, lightweight models and small-medium-sized production components exposed to high heat. Materials to consider are Nylon 11 FR, Nylon 12 FR, Nylon 12 CF, and Nylon 12 HST.

Stereolithography (SLA)

For large and lightweight prototyping. Testing and validating new designs, testing fluid flow or cooling channel analysis. Materials to consider are Somos® WaterClear Ultra 10122, Somos® WaterShed XC 11122, and Somos® NeXt.

Multi Jet Fusion (MJF)

For chemical resistance or low moisture absorption. Materials to consider are Nylon 12 PA, and Polypropylene.
